WE CAN TRAIN! 

The PRAY Billboard Mission is the main objective of People for CHRIST Inc., a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that was founded in 2020 during the lockdown.  We are diligently working to place PRAY Billboards across America to share the LORD’S message “PRAY - TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE” and thereby also sharing the Light of JESUS CHRIST to millions of travellers on our streets and highways of our Nation during these troubling times.  

The effort of People for CHRIST is on a volunteer basis for those who feel called, to join the Mission. The times in which we find ourselves living prove the great need for lost souls to awaken to hear about our LORD’S Glorious gift of salvation.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING ONLINE VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH THE FOLLOWING TASKS: 

1. Online research position to acquire contact information for billboard company contacts. We have developed lists of billboard companies so far and need someone to do research for the contact information within each company. We need their name, phone number, email address, fax number, location(s) addresses, etc.  

2. Online research & solicitation position to map out the areas around our past and present billboard locations for businesses and churches in the vicinity. Once these lists are completed using geolocation tools such as Google maps, we would like to send a donation solicitation email or letter. The objective of this position is to find people who see or have seen the billboard and would like to donate to keep the billboard up or would like volunteer to expand the mission in their area. This position will require phone calls to business and churches and record keeping of those contacts submitted weekly.  

3. Social Media Engagement position. This position will follow our various social media platforms to like, share and engage with others. Some engagements will be scripted. This position will require daily follow-up and replies.  

4. We need someone to make phone calls. You will call churches to see if we can put a display or materials, locate our mobile billboard, arrange to speak to their congregation, or make an appointment for us to talk with someone about those things. You will call businesses and churches that have been geolocated near past or present PRAY Billboards, let them know the mission of the billboards, bring awareness, and let them know we operate solely on in-kind gifts and donations and ask for their support. If it is a church, see if they have interest in becoming volunteers and/or adopting a billboard with ongoing monthly support. You will keep notated records of calls to turn in.

   WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING LOCAL VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH THE FOLLOWING TASKS:  

5. Nonprofit Fundraising & Event Assist is needed to keep the funding flowing in. If you have experience in grant-writing, seeking in-kind donations, online merchandizing, tradeshows or organizing onsite fundraising events, we would love to talk with you. We need someone with this experience to assist at the Farmer’s Market, Fall Foliage Festival, and other tradeshow events that we attend.  

6. Administrative Assist position to help in sending out thank you cards, imputing data in Excel spreadsheets each week as well as making fundraising calls to past donors.  

7.  We need graphics artists, creative writers, people who hear Holy Spirit and are bold with a word of knowledge to SPEAK IT OUT! We make flyers that are customized for a concise audience and so each one becomes unique. We would like to have a single flyer that "says it all," yet still be able to make flyers for any occasion as needs arise.  

8.  We would like to form a local PRAYER WARRIOR’S GUILD, but it will need a coordinator. This may include small prayer clusters, such as church group prayer chains, each getting the word to pray for something special at certain times. If you love prayer and believe in the power of mass prayers, and have a few hours a week, we’d love to hear from you!
